Big bad bullies....

Big bad bullies....
------------------
I was severely bullied my entire childhood....

And....

My entire adult life.....

I've been sent to the lineup...
Tried....
Judged...
and convicted..

Simply due to the insecurities of others who seem to find joy in the belittling of certain individuals, whom they feel should be INFERIOR to them in every way...

So....What I have learned from all of this...

Is...

PROVERBS 26:27

Anyone who sets a trap.. he will eventually fall in it himself...
And anyone who tries to roll a stone on another...that stone will turn and roll back on them..

"layman's terms...it's what Oriental societies call KARMA!...

What WE say is....

"What goes around...Comes around"

Ya see....

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes...

But eventually...
A bigger bully will come along,
and  take precedence upon the lives of those,
who thought the possibility of ever encountering an individual,
who had greater a implementation of influence upon others, than themselves...

Could ultimately never happen....

But..Surprise.....

So said the Navy seals when they walked into the caves of the ultimate bullies..Bin Laden...and Saddam Hussein!

So...

To all the Bullies in denial...

Be careful how you treat others around you...

Because one day...

You just might the be NEXT bully hiding out in a cave....

(This post is NOT meant for any certain individual....but if it has punched you in the stomach...)

Maybe you need to reevaluate your approach on life in general.... and especially the way you treat those around you every day...

True lies....

Dont believe evrything a smiling face tells you....

Because YOU could end up the Fool when its all said and done...

Backstabber..

Just because someone vows to watch your back...

Doesn't mean they're not holding a dagger behind theirs...

Just waiting for you to turn around...

TRUE PEACE...

Peace in your soul...

is worth more than gold in your pocket..

Root of all courage....

Just as a warrior knows....

There is a root to all courage and strength. We all have that planted within us.

When on the battlefield, a true warrior will mask his fear with the foundation of his strength within his own heart to get him to another day...

This foundation it built upon the ones whom hold our heart..

A little secret intel there...

Prepare your heart....

My very last boxing match was in (correction) 1993,
I remember it like it was yesterday.
The guy I was fighting was 43 years old.
I was 26..
I thought to myself..I really don't want to hurt this old man...
Until he hit me the first time..
I had never been hit so hard in my entire life..
He hit me again watered my eyes and disappeared behind me, I spun around and he hit me square in the forehead knocking me into the ropes and flat on my face...
This was the first time I had
EVER been knocked down.
My ears were ringing...I got an instant sore throat and sugar shakes..
I wabbled up to my feet and slapped my gloves on the 8 count.
I was, for the first time in my career...scared.
I won the fight with a TKO...
But it really didn't mean anything to me..
This old man...schooled me...made me look like a fool.
He took me down and I know that if I hadn't ran that extra mile...took the extra hour on the heavy bag...did the extra 1000 sit ups...
There would have been no way that I could have gotten up off that canvas...
I never found my mouth piece..one guy said it flew 10 rows back into the crowd..

Remember....your life is the same as this fight...
Never underestimate any situation...
Always prepare yourself long before you need the strength to go on...
And you will make it though anything this life puts on your back...

Mohammed Ali said...
The FIGHT is won OR lost, long before you get in the ring...

God NEVER promised He wouldn't put more on you than you can bear...
He promised not to put more on you that is RIGHT..

So prepare your self...mentally, spiritually AND physically, BEFORE you need the strength to pass through the fire...

Judge Not...

Sitting here tonight thanking God for answering prayer...
And reminiscing about a dear friend of mine  (God rest his soul) that I met as a teenager.
He did 4 tours in Vietnam, the last 2 as a navy seal/Frogman
I was the only one on the planet he would talk to, his PTSD was so bad, he would disappear for days from the public.
Even his awesome employer knew what was wrong when he wouldn't show up for work for 5 or 6 days a couple times per year. (Where are employers like this today?)
They would leave groceries on his front porch, and I would go by and bring them in, put them away...and go to his study...where I would find him sitting in the north corner of the storage closet with a bottle of jim beam.
He would say, Bobby?  Is that you?
Yes...it is..i would answer.
I would bring him 2 cheese sandwichs...
And he would cry as he ate them looking at me thanking me for not judging him for his PTSD and drinking.
He was a full blown Christian...loved God..trusted God...
But refused pills...
And anyone who tries to tell me he's in hell will get punched in the mouth.

But...my most memorable moment with my dear friend was...when he and his soon to be exwife (who was a literal psychopath) took me to a Vietnamese restaurant.
We sat there and laughed and talked for a while.
Then the waitress came by, and he ordered for all of us in fluent Vietnamese! She was so impressed, she went and got her entire family from the kitchen...he sat there and talked to them, and interpreted to me for, I'm guessing 3 hours...
By this time, his wife had gotten up and LEFT. (WOW)
But, I was sitting there listening to the most beautiful language I've ever heard in my life, coming from a man who NEVER GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL!
There were, I'm guessing 15 Vietnamese people around him all laughing and hugging him...the two elderly ladies kissed him many times on the top of his bald head.

He is gone now...the liquor finally took his life.  But the life he lived was incomparable to anyone's life I have ever known.

I said all this for a reason...

Sometimes you have a vision of someone that you have created in you own mind...
Be it great or lowly...

But never underestimate the mind of anyone who has endured tragedy after tragedy in their life.....
For their level of wisdom will one day dwarf your idea of what they are actually capable of doing.

Vietnamese is one of hardest languages in the WORLD to learn FLUENTLY!

Rest in peace Master Chief!

Hooyah!

Once again from the grave, you have blessed my soul.
