PARENTAL VALUES

Party time is over:

       Trying to justify drug use and over consuming alcohol while being a parent, while attempting to compare the two as one being evil and the other acceptable, ESPECIALLY a single parent, is utterly ridiculous.

       Let me place your mind in the midst of actual scenarios, of which I have witnessed multiple times as a professional bodyguard. 

A mom/dad...

Puts their child/children to bed...

And then commences to participate in their usual drug/alcohol use, while the child/children are sleeping...

Well....After a few hours if getting LIT...

First scenario: The child begins to choke in their sleep.

Second scenario: The child begins to vomit profusely and cry.

In both scenarios, the children needed immediate medical attention. 

In BOTH scenarios the parent/parents were so inebriated that there was no way they could operate a vehicle safely. 

In the first scenario the parent/parents put their child in the vehicle and unfortunately crashed at a high rate of speed on the way to the emergency room.

Luckily the child was revived and suffered no brain damage, but both parents lost custody of the child, and spent $70,000+ to get their child back, and lost both their jobs and home in the process.

      The second scenario, the mom called 911, because the dad was passed out.

The emergency response team arrived and smelled Marijuana on the mom, dad and all throughout the house...and he reported to his supervisor as such. 

The parents lost custody of both their children permanently.

What is similar about both of these scenarios?

Both were LEGAL to consume in the states they abided in.

But BOTH are classed as "Controlled Substances"

Drug use and over consumption alcohol use do NOT mix in the responsibilities of being a parent. 

You CANNOT justify it nor can you convince the authorities that what you were doing was "legal"

       Just because something is "LEGAL" does in no way make it morality and ethically acceptable.

Example: Visiting "Prostitutes" is legal in Nevada...

But try and explain to your "spouse" that it was perfectly legal and acceptable there. 

       Being a parent is NOT a part time job..It is a full time position for the strongest of souls. 

And if you don't have the mental capacity to understand the morality expectations of such..

Then you have no business being a parent.

Just as both of the scenarios above learned the hard way,

There are so many who still refuse to learn by example, but yet continue to follow their own paths to self destruction, all the while, blaming everyone else for their own bad decisions

Post thought: Once you give birth to another soul...

It's time to GROW UP...

Party time is OVER...

You are now responsible for the life of a miracle of God, and there are NO exceptions nor excuses to give you the justification to falter from it....ever...

Because GOD HIMSELF will hold your personally, morally and ethically responsible for your actions as a parent and/or guardian...

Just because you read a book and ace a test doesnt make you an expert on anyting..disagree?

Ok..read a book & take a written test on boxing..then lets you & I dance for 3 min ..

       There was a song many years ago that went something like this...."I'm in a hurry to get things done, rushing rushing 'cause life's no fun...all I wanna do is live and die, but I'm in a hurry and don't know why" Sound familiar?

       I remember singing this country classic at the top of my lungs at a time when the words to this song set along side of my life would be considered to be an oxymoron! Where did those days go?

       So now here we sit, in our everyday lives staring at contentment right outside our windows.

       Thinking if I was only out THERE and not HERE! I'd rather be at the BEACH...at the LAKE, Fishing, hunting or PLAYIN' XBOX!

       We're always rushing TO work only to wish the day gone by...then rushing BACK home!

       Our focus has been far removed from where it once was.

       Remember, In what ever you do for a living, never forget WHY you do it. At times when stress is high and moral is at record lows,

       REMEMBER why you get up every morning and head to work..... Your babies? Your wife? Your family? So many depend on you.

       We now days, view this as more of a burden than a pleasure. More of a displacement than a gift. God bestowed upon a man the strong desire to be needed, to FEEL needed. To know that what ever he is doing will make a difference ONE DAY.

       Women one the other hand have the desire no matter how small, to be sheltered, to be loved, pampered, spoiled and to have someone she can count on.

       Men look DOWN the road in life, while women examine the moment at hand. Sometimes this causes us to clash. But, all in all THIS is what puts us together like a beautiful puzzle.

       Without one... the other is incomplete. Try to keep yourself in check as I do everyday. No matter what the issue at hand, face every new day on your knees. God gives strength beyond all understanding. God gives understanding beyond all comprehension, and God gives comprehension beyond all...................

LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH AND SING WITH EVERYTHING YOU ARE! 

WE ONLY HAVE BUT SO LONG TO LIVE FOR LIFE IS BUT A VAPOR. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU STOPED TO LOOK AT THE CLOUDS? 

SMELL A PEACH BLOSSOM? 

WATCH THE WIND BLOW THROUGH THE TREES? 

WATCH A BUMBLE BEE SLAM INTO THE SIDE OF YOUR HOUSE? HAHA! 

SOMETIMES WE JUST NEED TO PULL BACK ON THE REINS, SLOW TO A TROT, AND FOR A MOMENT FORGET ABOUT YOUR CAR PAYMENT, YOUR HOUSE PAYMENT AND YOUR JOB..........................AND JUST TAKE A FEW SECONDS TO REMEMBER (WHEN)......................................

 It always amazes me at how we as Christian Americans think and claim to be so holy and righteous. 

Some dogmatic denominations actually believe that they are the only ones who will make it to heaven. They're so obsessed with homosexuality, alcohol and women wearing PANTS that they refuse to legitimately educate themselves, not only in the TRUE word of God..but also in the forgotten paganism rituals that have been quietly intertwined into our daily lives...

For example: did you know that the ENGLISH days of the week were ALL named after PAGAN GODS????

Or how about January through May being named after pagan Gods?

The "EASTER BUNNY" so innocent right? NOT!  The bunny was introduced to the church as a proof that it could reproduce without loosing its virginity just as The virgin Mary. Ugh!

The name EASTER came from a pagan Saxxon Goddess! Ouch!

I can go on and on...

If you wonder why God has slowly began to pull his blessings from our nation...stop looking at the UNBELIEVERS! 

And look in the MIRROR!

Unbelievers are doing exactly what is expected of them. 

Are WE doing what is expected of US? Nope!

How about us as CHRISTIANS get back to the fundamentals...call the days of the week and months what they are SUPPOSED to be called by OUR GOD'S calling. Forget the easter bunny...and celebrate RESURRECTION SUNDAY! Remember the SABBATH is on the 7TH day not the 1ST DAY of the week! 

How arrogant we are to think we can move it!  

Everything I've written here is biblical! Look it up...read for yourselves...and maybe we can leave the pagan gods in the ditch and start our path back to where God wants us to be...
